"Makers" is a long-term project that explores the work of creators and crafts people in an age of increasing automation. It began as an attempt to understand why I gravitated to these people and the products of their work, but has become an exploration of where these individuals fit into our future. Are they the start of a rebellion against mass-produced commodities in a race to the bottom, or are these people a dying breed?
